ABOUT ME
Hello!
My name is Natalia and I come from a little town in Eastern Slovakia, Michalovce.
In February 2014, my family and I, moved to a beautiful country, NORWAY. I live in a countryside, surrounded by forests and lakes.
I am a self-taught and multi-skilled artist, jewelry designer-maker, illustrator and graphic designer.
Since I can remember I have always had a head full of ideas, and pictures that wanted to get out into the world.
I have always wanted to create things, which would bring joy, not only to me, but to other people as well.
Of course, it took me some time to realize, that this is the path I should follow, and ART is my way to touch other people's hearts.
ART makes my life brighter and happier too, and helped me to get through difficult times.
I love colors, and adore unique and extraordinary things .
Let me share my Wishing Willow world with you. This is my happy bubble! Welcome and enjoy your visit. I am happy that you stopped by and became a part of it.
What does WISHING WILLOW mean ?
I believe that wishes are powerful, no matter how small they are. They are subtile just like a feather from an angel's wing but when you start believing in them they can become strong and change your life completely.
When thinking of the willow tree I see a great strength, wisdom, kindness and frailty at the same time. The willow tree will offer you comfort, mother's embrace and you can hide there in solitude. Only fireflies, forest fairies and other little harmful creatures will keep you company. You can listen to her stories she is whispering. You can tell her your secrets and be sure that they are safe.
And that is the meaning of Wishing Willow.
Believing in your dreams and wishes to come true is vital.
MAKE A WISH.
BELIEVE IN IT.
LET IT HAPPEN.

ABOUT MY ART
I adore all kind of natural stones and semi-precious stones, and like incorporating them into my work.
Big, colorful and visible jewelry is my cup of tee, but you might also find some minimalist pieces here.
I design and make all my jewelry pieces myself. Giving them my attention, love and a part of my soul.
One of a kind jewelry is made from a scratch by my hands. As I am not a factory there might be found some imperfections, but that is what I like about it. I like when those little imperfections are visible, because it makes those jewelry pieces special and gives them their charm.
Most of my jewelry pieces can not be remade or repeated because of the technique I am using, or simply because I do not wish to spoil uniqueness.
Some techniques allow me to make quite many jewelry pieces of the same look but making the same thing over and over again kills creativity. I prefer making jewelry pieces in limited editions or as
one-of-a-kind (OOAK) jewelry that have their own story to tell.
I really wish I could stick with one technique and style, but for me, it is just not possible. I am a person who wants to try everything and likes almost every kind of material. That is why there is such a great variety of styles in my work (vintage, wabi sabi, folklore, boho, modern, contemporary etc.) .
I hope you will find exactly that "precious piece" you wish to wear or just to spoil yourself with.
