This pendant belongs to my Enchanted garden collection,
Daisies, I used to play " he loves me, he loves me not with them when I was little. I used to wear them in my hair as well. Now I love watching them elegantly swaying in the wind in the fields and meadows.
Did you know that in Norse mythology, daisies were the sacred flower of the goddess Freya. Freya was the goddess of love, fertility, and beauty. Daisies eventually came to represent childbirth, motherhood, and new beginnings.
According to another old Celtic legend, whenever an infant died, God sprinkled daisies over the earth to cheer the parents up. That is why Daisies also symbolize innocence and purity.
This Daisy is from my garden in by our house. It is real and I preserved it with jeweler's grade non toxic crystal resin.
